FAQs
Common questions about services
If you don’t see your question here, please send a message — I’m happy to help.
Do you support hospital births as well as home births?
Yes. Birth doula support is available for home birth, hospital birth, birth centre, VBAC and water birth. The aim is to support you in the setting that’s right for you, and to help you feel informed and steady as plans evolve.
What does postnatal doula support look like in practice?
Postnatal sessions are practical and gentle: support with feeding, newborn care, settling, and creating space for rest and recovery. Sessions are booked at £30/hour with a minimum of 3 hours.
Is the hypnobirthing course suitable if I’m anxious about birth?
Yes. The private course is tailored to your preferences and any anxieties. It’s based on KGH principles, with a focus on physiology and practical coping techniques you can use in labour.
How do I know whether to choose the package?
If you’d like both preparation tools (hypnobirthing) and hands-on birth support, the combined package offers a joined-up approach from planning through to birth.
